Today these councilors have a WIDER AREA, the combination of Formal & Informal has literally doubled the population in these areas, the equipment and material and schedules of the Municipality has not been adjusted to cater for such evolution, whilst the councilors work with the old methodologies of communication, gathering information, analyzing issues and reporting same
Ward 30 relies on 6 key volunteers, but they are not able to keep up always. Methods used are Microsoft Forms for collecting info throwing out Graphs on Statistics,, TEAMS for collaboration and Archiving, ZELLO (Push to Talk) for high-risk reporting, CPF Radios for Critical Communication (with non reliance on industry known telecom providers), WhatsApp groups (+-12 Groups of 256 people in Ward 30 alone), ALERT NOTICES on Key Service Delivery matters impacting HEALTH RISKS, AGED, CHILDREN especially.
